About Heart Rate Variability

Researchers around the world have been exploring how the heart communicates with the brain and thereby influencing our perceptions, emotions and overall health. Research shows that negative emotions causes increased disorder in the hearts rhythms, as well as the autonomic nervous system, ultimately affecting the rest of the body. Conversely, positive emotions increase harmony and coherence in heart rhythms and lead to improved balance of the nervous system. Biofeedback equipment that monitors heart rate variability and “Freeze Frame” techniques developed by Doc Childre, founder of Heart Math Institute teaches you how to shift your emotional state quickly whether you are in a business meeting or at the grocery store with your children.
